ICoGB 2024
During the International Conference on Green Buildings in 2024, the collaborative work involving FINCON, J&G, and ItalMesh has made it possible to define the criteria and requirements for state-of-the-art vertical green technologies in the fields of architecture and engineering, while also providing an analysis of the existing regulations.
One of the first outcomes of the GREENVESTS RFCS European Project was disseminated at an international conference in Politecnico di Milano, through a presentation titled ‘A Comprehensive Framework for Living Wall Design: Bridging Standards, Current Approaches, and Unexplored Frontiers in Architectural and Structural Practices.’ The presentation, authored by Eng. Ariane Benoit, Eng. Mahboubeh Pakzad Moghaddam, Eng. Giovanni Barbotti, Prof. Julia Nerantzia Tzortzi (Georgi), Prof. Carlo Andrea Castiglioni, and Arch. R.M.Cristina Musacchio, marked a significant step in sharing the project’s pioneering findings with the international community. This contribution reflects the project’s aim to advance the understanding and integration of living walls in architectural and structural design.
